SC | ST |OBC Committee

The college has formed an SC/ST/OBC committee which is a platform for addressing grievances and ensuring equal opportunities for students and employees belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Caste (OBC) categories.

Objectives:

To ensure that there is no caste-based discrimination
To ensure that students receive the benefits of government schemes
To help students with their academic and administrative problems
To ensure that students receive scholarships and other benefits
To counsel and sensitize stakeholders to ensure equality
To organize meetings with students | employees to address their personal, social, and academic or work problems if any

Who can use the committee?

Students and employees belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category can use the committee if they face any caste-based discrimination or grievances or if they have suggestions.

Mechanism

The affected student | employee can approach the SC|ST|OBC Committee / Principal direct and lodge their complaint.

The person concerned may also send an email to college's official email id: ggscollegesarhali@yahoo.co.in

They may also submit the form given below to lodge their grievance. The identity of the person will be kept confidential.

An thorough enquiry will be conducted and final action will be taken within 7 days.

However, the committtee shall not entertain anything that goes against the directives of the state / central government directives and their schemes.
