College Infrastructure
The college is proud of its vast and modern infrastructure. There are more than fifty class rooms, three staff rooms, an air-conditioned conference/seminar hall, two big computer labs equipped with multimedia projector, three physics lab, a chemistry lab and a dress designing workshop besides two administrative blocks, management rooms and principal's office.
A spacious and well maintained playground is an added attraction for the potential sports persons. The college also offers the facility of a modern Gymnasium equipped with health and fitness machines. The students will do well to spend some time the Gym to maintain their physical fitness. A state-of-the-art double storey cafeteria has been constructed for students. The ever-growing computerized double storey college library with its books, magazines, journals and newspapers is pride of the college. Book Bank facility is available to the needy and the poor. The college building is attractive, neat and airy. A splendid well-groomed lawn in the campus is simply bewitching. Three powerful generators have been installed to supply uninterrupted power to the whole college. The college has a good and comprehensive transport facility for the students. This bus facility is available from several important places, villages and towns. Every year the academic session starts on a pious note with the observance of the religious ceremony of Bhog of Sri Akhand Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. An annual function cum cultural programme incorporating inter colleges competition is held in the last week of October or in the first week of November. The Annual Sports Day is organised in February. Annual Convocation and Prize Distribution functions are held in the last week of February. Various colourful cultural items are presented in these functions.
