Duration of Each Senior Secondary course: One Academic Year

The examination are ordinarily held in the month of February/March or on such dates as may be fixed by the Punjab School Education Board, Mohali.

10+1 (11th)

Eligibility: Pass in 10th

10+1    Compulsory Subjects: English, Punjabi, Computer Science, Environmental Education, Welcome Life
              
                and
         
             For Arts : Any three elective subjects to be selected: Political Science, History, Economics, Mathematics, Elective English/Punjabi, Physical Education
         
             For Medical / Non-medical: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics
         
             For Commerce: Business Studies - I, Accountancy I, Modern Office Practices / Economics

10+2 (12th)

Eligibility: Pass in 10+1

10+2     Compulsory Subjects: English, Punjabi, Computer Science, Environmental Education, Welcome Life
              
                 and
         
             For Arts : Any three elective subjects to be selected: Political Science, History, Economics, Mathematics, Elective English/Punjabi, Physical Education
         
             For Medical / Non-medical: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics
         
             For Commerce: Business Studies - II, Accountancy II, Modern Office Practices / Economics

Note: 10+1 Arts students cannot take Medical/Non-Medical/Commerce subjects in 10+2.
